Workshop Meal Options – Winston Shrout Weekend

MEALS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-PURCHASE

Meals are available for purchase for early arrivals starting with lunch Wednesday, August 31st through the Workshop through and including late departures with breakfast on Tuesday September 6th. This year you will be able to purchase individual meals rather than an entire meal plan.

In keeping with the message of ECETI, all of the food prepared on-site will be made with organic no-hormone beef, chicken and turkey, organic produce and organic eggs. Meals are not included in the registration for the workshop or camping fees. There are no refunds for meals not eaten and no refunds for cancellation of meals. Please note that the exact menu is subject to change depending on product/produce availability and weather conditions at the ranch (if the weather is unusally hot or cold the menus will be adjusted accordingly). Also, please realize that we are located at least 40 minutes one-way from the closest organic grocery store, so pre-ordering your meals will assist us in providing you the freshest organic ingredients and quality food preparation.  Meals should be purchased by Sunday August 28th.  Any meals ordered on or after Sunday August 29th or on site will be subject to availability and a a 10% surcharge.  There is no guarantee that meals will be available for purchase on site, so please plan accordingly.  We don’t want anyone to go hungry.

For the purposes of these menus:

Omnivore Meals include organic no-hormone animal proteins (beef, chicken, turkey), organic eggs, organic cheese, organic butter, organic wheat breads, organic wheat pasta, organic grains and any and all organic produce.

Vegetarian Meals includes organic tofu, organic tempeh, organic produce, organic legumes, organic vegetarian sausage, organic eggs, organic cheese, organic butter, organic wheat breads, organic wheat pasta, organic grains and any and all organic produce.

Vegan: If you desire 100% vegan meals there is an additional one-time $12 up-charge, no matter the number of meals ordered. This must be ordered in advance.

Gluten-Free: If you desire gluten-free substitutions there is an additional one-time $12 up-charge, no matter the number of meals ordered. This must be ordered in advance.

Please note pricing for these meals includes all catering fees, taxes, gratuities, cost of compostable plates, silverware and cups, sternos and other equipment required for providing you with healthy, delicious, made-with-love food.  There will not be facilities available for people to cook their own food during this weekend as we are catering the event.  You can however choose to leave the ranch for meals at the local cafe (which is non-organic) if you do not wish to partake in the meals offered.  Please be aware that on the weekends the café can get very busy and as much as we love them, their service may be an exercise in patience.

IF there are attendees who would like to purchase dinner Monday night it will be a $10 donation for an assortment of leftovers that will include omnivore, vegetarian and vegan options with salad and dessert. No guarantees of any specific meal as leftovers.
